Mirrabooka residents make up the most culturally, linguistically and faith diverse State Parliament seat in Western Australia, and about sixth most in Australia. Staff at the electorate and myself as the MP, were dealing with this diverse constituency, their issues, and requests on a daily basis. While we were confident in our work, the unconscious bias training delivered by Diversity Focus was informative and challenging. In such as short but powerful session the Diversity Focus team raised our awareness of stereotyping that leads to unfair treatment and offered tools to overcome these unconscious judgements to better represent and advocate for the people of Mirrabooka.”

Diversity Focus’ professionalism, quality of service and approach is remarkable. Diversity Focus updated the case management framework to include guidelines for responding to Family Domestic Violence.
